Opens the Find HVAC Equipment page, where you can select air conditioners, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment for the current project. Data can be automatically copied to the Equipment page by simply double-clicking an item in the list.

Current System: Specifies the system for which to select equipment.

Percent Sensible Capacity: Specifies how much of the cooling equipment's capacity is sensible. The value you enter here will determine how much of the unit's capacity will be assigned to the Sensible Capacity input and how much will be assigned to the Latent Capacity input.

Filename: Specifies which manufacturer database file you want to use. Click Select Filename to choose a different file.

General Filters

Clear Button: Blanks out the Model Number, Indoor Model and AHRI Reference Number inputs.

Model Type: From the dropdown list select the type of equipment you want to search for.

Model Number: Optionally specifies a whole or partial model number for which to search upon clicking the Search button.

Indoor Model: Optionally specifies a whole or partial indoor model number for which to search upon clicking the Search button.

AHRI Reference Number: Optionally specifies an AHRI reference number for which to search upon clicking the Search button.

Capacity and Efficiency Filters

Cooling [Heating] Capacity, Min and Max: If you would like to restrict your search to only those units which are within a certain capacity range, enter the minimum and/or maximum values (in MBH) and click the Search button. If you came to this page by clicking the Select Heating Equipment or Select Cooling Equipment button on the System Equipment page these values will be filled in based on the Capacity Multipliers you have specified in the Capacity Multipliers section of this page.

Cooling [Heating] Efficiency, Min and Max: If you would like to restrict your search to only those units which are within a certain efficiency range, enter the minimum and/or maximum values and click the Search button.

Page Size: Sets the number of results to view at a time on the current page after you click the Search button.

Non-HP Cooling, Heating, Min and Max: Specifies the percentages by which to multiply the load to set the capacity min and max filters when reaching this page by clicking Select Heating Equipment or Select Cooling Equipment button on the System Equipment page

Re-Apply to Capacity Filters: Applies the capacity multiplier percentages to the current system loads and fills in the capacity min and max.

Search: Searches through the selected database for all the models that meet the desired criteria.

Select: Copies data from the selected item to the System Equipment Data page.
